Gospel In The Workplace

  • For those who have placed their faith in the salvific work of Jesus Christ, the Gospel is integrated in all of who they are and all that they do. It wouldn’t make sense for any believer to separate their faith from the vocational work they do.

Here at ProLift, we want to provide the opportunity and freedom for believers to follow in Christ’s footsteps, obey His commandments, and live out the Gospel truths in their work environment.

  • In a one sentence summary, the Gospel of Christ is a call to all mankind to repent and believe in faith of the life, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins and a hope of eternal life in Him.

Jesus calls us to have a child like faith in who He says He is and believing in the work He has done for us. Each part of the summary sentence above has a fascinating simplicity and yet an extreme depth of what the Gospel is. • The answer to that is… absolutely.

Jesus gives us the greatest commandment in Matthew 22 which is to love God with all that we are and likewise to love others. John shows this is possible because God first loved us through Jesus, therefore we can show that love to others (see 1 John 4:19).

The other commandments we are called to stem from this great command to love God and love others (see Matt 22:36-40, Gal 5:14 and Romans 13:8). And Matthew 28, Jesus gives a specific command for how to love.. by making disciples (see Matt 28:18-20).

  • Good question. A short answer is to study the Bible and see how Christ loved and lead His disciples. Below are great resources available to you to grow in understanding of discipleship. Reach out to Daniel Voss (dvoss@proliftrigging.com) to get more details and sign up.
